Anahata thrives in the collective co-creation. Every year new and returning participants actively contribute to making Anahata the magic that it is by sharing their talents, skills and knowledge, learning from each other and getting inspired.

Core Volunteer & Crew Roles

We are looking for reliable, grounded, team-oriented individuals who can commit fully to their role.

✨ Set-Up & Take-Down Team

Physical preparation of festival grounds
Building structures, shade, signage, altars
Coordinating logistics before and after the event
Must be comfortable with outdoor physical work

✨ Kitchen Support

Kitchen prep and clean-up shifts
Dishwashing and food service support
Assisting our Kitchen Coordinator and chefs

✨ Gatekeeping

Welcoming guests upon arrival
Checking tickets and wristband distribution
Holding a calm, clear, friendly presence at the entrance
Directing people to parking and camping areas

✨ Firekeeping

Maintaining ceremonial fire safety
Holding respectful presence around sacred fire space
Assisting in gathering, transporting, arranging, chopping, or sawing firewood
Supporting safe extinguishing procedures as needed
Comfort with basic physical labor required
Experience with fire safety is an asset

✨ Lifeguard (New Role – Daytime Pond Steward)

At the request of the land stewards, we are adding a pond safety role this year.

Keeping a watchful eye on the swimming area during designated daytime hours
Supporting water safety, especially when children are present
Ensuring basic safety guidelines are followed
Calm, attentive presence required
Current CPR certification is a strong asset

This role is about prevention, awareness, and steady presence — not active rescue work, but ensuring the pond area remains safe and cared for.

Creative & Facilitation Contributions

We are deeply grateful to all the facilitators and artists that have come forth this year - we are not accepting any more workshop or performance offerings for 2026.
